Curated directly with Carol Decker, this 3CD collection journeys through the career of the well-loved pop-rock outfit T'Pau whilst they were under the 'Virgin' label. From their 1987 debut single 'Heart & Soul' through to 2021's 'Guess Who's Sorry Now.'

Essential T'Pau features the UK #1 smash hit 'China In Your Hand' alongside every other Top 40 hit, as well as a number of original recordings from the hit albums 'Bridge of Spies,' 'Rage' and 'The Promise.'

Also included is a smattering of B-Sides, remixes, alternative & live versions as well as the first physical release of 2018's 'Run,' 2020's 'Be Wonderful' & this year's 'Guess Who's Sorry Now.'

This release certainly does see a plethora of fan's favourites; from The Nightmare Mix of 'Only The Lonely,' the stunning extended mix of 'Whenever You Need Me' to the extremely sought after Canadian remixes from the 'Rage' album; 'Arms of Love,' 'Running Away' & 'Island.'

All of the single's appear as the edits they were released in, not forgetting every one's album version, plus so much more!!

This 56 track curation is any T'Pau or even 80's fans dream from the content that is on it. Everyone that was around at T'Pau's conception & the beginning of their reign of the charts remembers the band and Carol Decker so vividly. Their songs have stood the test of time so well, and they would not sound out of place in today's charts!!

So many people have said to me in the past that T'Pau's music was the soundtrack to their youth, or is the soundtrack to their life, clinging on to every last word of the songs that Miss Decker so beautifully sings, making it autobiographical to themselves.

Or people would say 'I had my first dance at my wedding to China' & 'Your music really helped me get through a bad time in my life.'

I think because a lot of T'Pau songs can come across as autobiographical, especially Carol & Ronnie's 'bread & butter' tunes; the ballads, they hold en even more special place in people's hearts. ❤❤

You can see some of the singles, and a couple of extended mixes...Of course I have included The Nightmare Mix of 'Only The Lonely.' A T'Pau collection wouldn't be complete without it!!

The above tracks; 2018's 'Run,' 2020's 'Be Wonderful' & this year's 'Guess Who's Sorry now' have only been available to download until now....

Fans have said they would love to have them released on a CD. Well, Universal have included these three tracks as 'Exclusive New Tracks' at the end of disc 3 and they will finally be available to own as a physical release!!

These 3 tracks have definitely got the distinctive T'Pau sound, with the familiar guitar's & Carol's always oh so distinctive vocals. The only real way to describe it is saying these songs have true T'Pau DNA running through them!!
